The word Troodon (TROH-o-don) was actually named after a bird-like dinosaur from the Campanian age. The literal translation in Greek is "wounding tooth" which represents the sharp and serrated nature of the Troodon's dental structure. The Combat Troodon is 25% larger than the tradition Troodon model but still manages to boast a sleek slender contoured handle that is ergonomic as it is functional. Each Microtech OTF knife has extremely sophisticated internal mechanisms which improve the overall operational functionality and reliability. Part of the Signature Series, this model, the 219-13CF, features a carbon fiber top handle scale and a black aluminum bottom handle scale complete with standard bronze hardware and an integrated glass breaker function along with a hellhound tanto style blade in a bronze finish. Made in the USA.
