The Microtech 232-15 UTX-85 has been updated and refined over the previous UTX-85 models from years ago. It features improved ergonomics, with rounded handle faces, and patches of grooves along the sides to ensure excellent grip. The firing button has been redesigned to increase surface contact for effective engagement, and the glass breaker has a ball-tip set in the trip-angle pattern base to increase its everyday carry manners. This UTX-85 model has a double edge dagger (fully serrated) Bohler M390 or Carpenter CTS-204P steel blade with a bronze finish. The 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum handle has an anodized black finish, and is outfitted with bronze finish hardware, pocket clip, and glass breaker tip that matches the blade finish. The UTX-85 gets its name because it is 85 percent the size of the Microtech’s Ultratech model, and is an excellent option for those who prefer a smaller OTF auto knife.
