DESCRIPTION
The Microtech Currahee is a full tang fixed blade knife that was originally designed for the US Special Forces Boat Team 20 years ago. The word "Currahee" stems from the Cherokee Nation and translates into "stand alone"--perfect for a knife that can endure the most extreme of adverse conditions. The composite polymer handle is plenty thick but the ergonomics of it allows for potential long term use while keeping fatigue at a minimum. The custom molded Blade-Tech kydex rig allows for molle carry and the incorporated paracord lanyard and glass knocker bead makes this fixed blade a true standout amongst the competition. This model, the 102-1GR, consists of an olive drab green handle, tactical hardware, and a drop point blade in an olive drab green finish. Made in the USA.
